Outrigger

In 2010 the first outrigger OC-6 race was held, and once again this year these exotic boats will line up at the start. OC-6 are six-man canoes with one lateral support. The teams paddle a distance of about 9 km. The route on the Wohlensee starts at the "Werkbucht". The boats pass under the Kappelen and Wohlei bridges, and then turn halfway along the route around a buoy. The finish is the Stägmattsteg footbridge before the boathouse.

Route

The outriggers start just behind the sculls and paddle the same route as the sculls.
The start is thus right at the back of the bay in front of the dam and the finish is at the boathouse.
The route is about 9 km long.

Enrolment fee

The enrolment fee is usually CHF 120.- per boat. Deposit: CHF 20.- per boat for t-shirt starting number

1. The enrolment fee must be paid into the Bern Regatta Association?s bank account (Regattaverein Bern) at least one week BEFORE the day of the regatta.
2. The deposit for bow number and starting number t-shirt must be paid when the starting numbers are distributed. Please have the correct money with you to pay the deposit. The deposit will be returned when the bow number and starting number t-shirts are returned to the regatta office.

Please observe the instructions above in order to avoid long waiting times in the regatta office. In exceptional cases, e.g. when participants cannot pay the enrolment fee on time, this can be paid in cash to the regatta office on the day of the race.
